Guess which elected officials got HUGE GIFTS this year.
GUESS: That is what you will be limited to because, in Mississippi, gifts do not have to be disclosed by an elected official – whether a new truck, boat, trip to Paris, etc.
I will introduce a bill next week that will require elected officials disclose all “gifts,” just like campaign contributions. Let’s see if the powerbrokers let the bill see the light of day.
