Wicker Recognizes Cochran For Senate Milestone


U.S. Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., spoke on the Senate floor Friday, March 3, to pay tribute to U.S. Senator Thad Cochran in honor of his recent milestone as the tenth longest-serving Senator in U.S. history.
Wicker reflected on personal experience as the junior Senator to Cochran, expressing his appreciation for Cochran’s leadership on issues affecting Mississippi and the country. He also touched on momentous periods during Cochran’s tenure and underscored the senior Senator’s highly respected reputation as a “trailblazer” and a “quiet persuader.”
