An April 5th public forum on Healthcare has been canceled. The event, which was being sponsored by the Lafayette County Democratic Party, was set up to answer questions about the proposed American Health Care Act during the effort to repeal and replace Obamacare.
The bill was pulled after Speaker of the House Paul Ryan announced that they did not receive enough votes to pass the legislation.
In an announcement from the LCDP, they noted that the healthcare form will be rescheduled once there is a “clearer picture as the what any new proposed health care legislation looks like.”
