Oxford Park Commission's Skate Park Now Closed After Dark Due To Repeated Vandalism

Due to excessive and repeated vandalism, a decision has been made regarding the Oxford Park Commission’s skate park. The electricity to power the lights at the park have been turned off until further notice. Over the past few months, the box that stores the electrical equipment has been tampered with by unknown individuals.
Steps have been taken by the OPC, including its administration and maintenance crews, to prevent the damage, as well as protect residents from any injuries. Despite these measures, damage continued. The only option left was to completely turn off the power, essentially closing the park to skaters at sunset.
