Northwest Staff Members Complete MCCLA

Gerald Beard, Disability Support Services coordinator at Northwest Mississippi Community College, left, and Tonyalle Rush, Evening School director at Northwest’s DeSoto Center, right, recently graduated from the Mississippi Community College Leadership Academy (MCCLA).

The MCCLA was developed in the spring of 2009 to address the projected need for upper-level leaders in the Mississippi community college system.

Congratulating Beard and Rush is Dr. Howell Garner, executive director of the Mississippi Community College Foundation.
