Ole Miss returns home after three games on the road to host the Vanderbilt Commodores in the 2017 Homecoming game. Kickoff is slated for 2:30 p.m. and will be aired on the SEC Network.

Ole Miss (2-3, 0-2) is coming back to the Vaught for the first time since the Sept. 9 game against UT Martin. The Rebels have struggled on the road but found their offense in the second half of last week’s game against Auburn, when they were down 35-3 at the half.
Sophomore quarterback Shea Patterson found D.K. Metcalf for two touchdown strikes. The scores marked the first time Ole Miss found the end zone since the second quarter at California. Running back Jordan Wilkinson capped off the red-and-blue scoring with a rushing score of his own.
Vanderbilt got off to a hot 3-0 start this season but cooled down after stepping into SEC league play, going 0-3. The Commodores are coming off a 54-14 setback to Georgia at home. Derek Mason’s squad is anchored by junior QB Kyle Shurmur, who has thrown 12 TDs and only one interception.
This game marks the 92nd meeting between Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, dating back to 1894. It is the third most-played series of all time between Ole Miss and its 2017 opponents (the others being Mississippi State and LSU). The Rebels lead the series 50-39-2 overall and 23-6 in Oxford. The Rebels have won three of the last four with Vandy.
Fans that can not make it into town this weekend can listen to all of the action on the Ole Miss Radio Network or watch the game on SEC Network.
