NFL Rebel Updates: Evan Engram Records his Second Career Touchdown

Here at OleMissSports.com, we are proud to update Rebel fans on the exploits of our former players who lace up their cleats on Sundays in the NFL. Ole Miss has a big presence in the league again this year. There are currently 23 former Rebels on NFL rosters, including two-time Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning, last year’s first-round draft picks Robert NkemdicheLaquon Treadwell and Laremy Tunsil, and 2017 first-round draft pick Evan Engram

Started at tight end in the Giants’ victory over Denver (23-10) tallying five receptions for 82 yards with the second touchdown of his career.

Contributed five tackles, two for a loss and timed a blitz perfectly to disrupt a potential touchdown in the Steelers’ victory over the Chiefs (19-13).

Started at right guard in the Giants’ victory over the Broncos (23-10) on Sunday Night Football.

Contributed two tackles in San Francisco’s loss to Washington (26-14)
#31 Derrick Jones | CB | New York Jets
Active, but did not contribute to the Jets’ loss to New England (24-17).
#6 Chad Kelly | QB | Denver Broncos
Placed on injured reserve.
#10 Eli Manning | QB | New York Giants
Started at quarterback for the Giants going 11-for-19 for 128 yards with a touchdown in a victory over Denver (23-10).
#70 Bobby Massie | OT | Chicago Bears
Started at tackle in Chicago’s victory over Baltimore (27-24).
#10 Donte Moncrief | WR | Indianapolis Colts
Started at wide receiver for the Colts tallying five receptions for 67 yards in a loss to the Titans (36-22) on Monday Night Football.
#90 Robert Nkemdiche | DT | Arizona Cardinals
Active, but did not see action in Arizona’s victory over Tampa Bay (38-33).  
#78 Jeremy Parnell | OT | Jacksonville Jaguars
Started at tackle in Jacksonville’s victory over Los Angeles (27-17).  
#79 Bradley Sowell | OT | Chicago Bears
Contributed, but did not start in Chicago’s victory over Baltimore (27-24).
