OPD Arrests Oxford Man on Three Commercial Burglary Charges

Oxford police have made an arrest in connection with several recent break-ins at the Alpha Omega Student Christian Center on West Jackson Avenue.
With assistance from the Lafayette County Metro Narcotics Unit, Joshua Flemons, 26, of Lafayette County was identified as a suspect in the case and taken into custody on Dec. 13.
Flemons was charged with three counts of commercial burglary and issued a bond of $20,000. The alleged burglaries took place on Dec. 4, Dec. 9 and Dec. 11, and over $2,000 was reported missing.
