OPD Arrests Man for Alleged Embezzlement

Charles Rainey

Oxford Police Department (OPD) served Charles Rainey, 46 of Oxford, with an arrest warrant Wednesday for an alleged embezzlement.
A complaint was filed Tuesday stating that Rainey took money from the Oxford School District to pay personal bills and pay himself extra money. The estimated amount taken is $1,800.
Rainey was booked on one count of embezzlement and his bond was set at $3,000.
