OPD Arrests Oxford Woman for Alleged Auto Burglary

The Oxford Police Department took a report of an auto burglary on Feb. 3, at New York Fashion on University Ave. The investigation led to Oxford resident Carolyn Ivy, 49. Ivy cashed the victim’s money order at a local bank on Feb. 5.

Two arrest warrants were issued for Ivy, one for auto burglary and one for false pretense. She was arrested on Feb. 12 at her residence then taken to the Lafayette County Detention Center. 
Ivy was given a bond of $2,500 for the above charges.
