Oxford police responded to the following calls: Three alarms, three ambulance assist, three careless driving, civil matter, counterfeit currency, disturbing the peace, domestic disturbance, three fire department assist, improper parking, lost property, malicious mischief, three motorist assist, scam, four suspicious activity, two suspicious persons, suspicious vehicles, two trespassing, two welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated seven accident, 45 tickets and made the following arrests:

Two Noise Violations
Possession of Marijuana in a Motor Vehicle, No Tag
Possession of Paraphernalia

Public Drunk, Littering
Two Shoplifting
Warrant Served
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department responded to the following incidents: Accident, three alarms, animal complaint, two harassment, juvenile complaint, eight service calls, three suspicious activities, welfare concern, four transports, traffic complaint, two reckless driving, civil matter.
Lafayette Sheriff’s Department made no arrests
Oxford Fire Department:
11:15 – Wilson Art (old Rosenbauer plywood) using water during manufacturing process activated a detector
11:58 – The Flats Bldg. 10 – testing the alarm system
16:33 – 400 Country Club Road – smell of wires burning – closet light going bad
17:21 – CR 102 – small grass fire – FD extinguished it
17:32 – New Baptist Hospital – equipment storage room – smoke detector malfunction
University Police Department responded to the following incidents:
Simple Assault, accident motor vehicle damage, 10 vehicle stops, reckless driving, accident hit and run.
