Oxford Police, K9s Search for Weapon After Arresting Shooting Suspect

*Update: Oxford police received reports that two males were fighting at Rockette’s, and shots were fired as they left the area. The victim was not injured. Oxford police are actively investigating the case. 

Oxford Police arrested a male reportedly for a shooting that occurred at Rockette’s gas station on Molly Barr Road. Officers made the arrest in the Star Package Store parking lot within minutes of the 4 p.m. shooting on Thursday.

Although the suspect is in custody, officers are actively searching surrounding areas for the “weapon” with K9 units.
