Shot Fired at The Lyric, OPD Looks for Suspect

 

Officers with the Oxford Police Department were outside The Lyric working a post for Double Decker when they reported a disturbance inside The Lyric at 9:48 p.m., Friday.

As they were entering, people were saying it was a shooting. The situation was quickly contained and an investigation ensued.
A fight had broken out inside of The Lyric. The suspect fired one shot off into the air. No one was actually hit by the shot that was fired. The victim that was hurt was injured by broken glass when everyone started running.
The suspect is not in custody at this time.
