Operation Fit Nation is an organization focused on empowering individuals and communities through community outreach programming to take control of their health. This event is designed to facilitate learning about healthy behaviors, like eating healthy and exercising, through active participation. This year’s event is in partnership with the Future Farmers of America organization at Lafayette High School.

“We hope to serve as a fun, safe, and educational alternative to the typical Halloween festivities in the community,” said Lawrence Muruako, founder of Operation Fit Nation.

“The Lafayette County High School Commons will be transformed into a child-friendly fun zone where they can play games, test their fitness and nutrition knowledge, get grab bags full of nutritious treats, get dental screenings and much more.”
