Oxford Intermediate School will have a new principal at the start of the next school year.
Oxford School District announced Monday that Toni Bell will serve as the new principal for OIS that serves students in the fifth and six grades for the 2019-2020 school year.
Bell is coming to Oxford from Senatobia where she has served as the principal at Senatobia Elementary and Senatobia High School.
Bell has held various roles including a lath/literacy coach, pre-algebra teacher and English teacher. She has a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University and a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Delta State University.
“I am honored and humbled to be selected as the Oxford Intermediate School principal,” Bell said. “First and foremost, relationships are at the heart of everything I do. I look forward to building and nurturing these relationships with the faculty, staff, students, parents, and all stakeholders of the Oxford community. My vision includes a commitment to excellence and ensuring that all students are prepared for the 21st century.”
