The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an apparent murder-suicide that occurred Monday night.
According to reports, deputies were dispatched at about 9 p.m. to a house on the 100 Block of County Road 147 for a domestic disturbance call.
When deputies arrived, they found a man and woman dead at the house. Investigators, along with the Mississippi Bureau of Investigations determined the deaths resulted from a murder-suicide.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department is not releasing the names at this time.
