New Playground Opens at Central Elementary

First-graders at Central Elementary School played on the school’s new playground for the first time Wednesday afternoon. The PTO fundraising committee raised more than $75,000 in 2019 to purchase the new playground equipment. The playground is phase one of the project. Future plans include a walking track and hopscotch courts.
