Oxford Man Arrested for Burglary
Investigators with the Oxford Police Department responded to a burglary in the 1700 block of East Jackson Ave. on Aug. 14. After investigation, Earnest Sears, 21, of Oxford, was taken into custody and charged with Burglary of a Dwelling.
Sears was taken before a Lafayette County Justice Court judge for his initial bond hearing and issued a $2,500 bond, but the bond was revoked due to Sears being out on a previous felony bond.
