Oxford Crime Report: Monday, March 23

Oxford police responded to the following incidents: six alarms, three welfare concerns, two petit larcenies, two noise violations, two trespassing, an improper parking, a suspicious activity, a shoplifting, a malicious mischief, a disturbance, a fraud, a harassment, a civil matter and a careless driving.

Oxford police investigated nine wrecks, issued 14 traffic citations and made nine arrests on the following charges: (3) shoplifting, (2) public intoxication, a disturbing the peace, a DUI, a trespassing, a careless driving with possession of schedule II narcotics with a DUI.

University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, two traffic details at Ford Center, an accidental hit and run on Fraternity Row, a vehicle accident at Campus Walk, and a vehicle accident on the university’s golf course.

Oxford Fire Department is currently responding to calls.
