Other towns making the top 10 include Tybee Island, Georgia; Venice, Florida; Southport, North Carolina; and more. The top 10 towns will be featured in the magazine’s July/August issue.
Each year Coastal Living solicits nominations online for readers’ suggestions for the awards. From there, Coastal Living looks at weather reports, health index, geographic diversity, crime ratings and standards of living to narrow down the list. Readers are then invited to vote for their favorite town, and the voting results make up the rank. See the entire list here.
