On Thursday, July 23, Oxford police responded to the following incidents: 3 Disturbances: 10 Suspicious Activities, two noise violations, five alarms, three careless drivers, two welfare concerns, two fire department assists, malicious mischiefs, embezzlements, credit card frauds and ambulance assists.
Oxford police investigated five wrecks, issued 28 traffic citations and made five arrests on the following charges:
- Careless driving and DUI
- Two public intoxications
- Minor in possession of alcohol
- No tag and suspended driver’s license
