The Ole Miss Rebels awaiting either a Sugar or Citrus Bowl invitation continue to move higher in the polls following the muzzling of the Mississippi State Bulldogs Saturday.

Here are three major polls and how SEC teams fare. It appears ten of the fourteen member conference are bowl bound.

Of the above group, Ole Miss faced “seven” of these teams defeating five of them. This is the primary reason that the Rebels are being highly considered for two New Year’s day bowls. Should Alabama defeat Florida Saturday (the Tide is a 17 point favorite), the Ole Miss position will be strengthened further.
