Oxford police responded to the following incidents: five suspicious activities, two disturbances, two alarms, two improper parking, two welfare concerns, a shoplifting, an ambulance assist, a public intoxication, a lost property, a malicious mischief, a careless driving, and an auto burglary at 1200 block of Ivy Road.
Oxford police investigated four wrecks, issued 17 traffic citations and made four arrests on the following charges:
(2) Possessions of drug paraphernalia
No headlights, suspended driver’s license, expired tag and no insurance
Expired tag, suspended driver’s license and possession of drug paraphernalia
University police responded to the following incidents: two vehicle stops, a suspicious vehicle in Kincannon lot, a possession of drug paraphernalia at Crosby Hall, a larceny at Campus Walk, and a vehicle wreck on Hathorn Road.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following call: a cancelled call at 12:51 p.m. while en route to Winchester.
The Oxford Fire Department will be at the Ole Miss girls Softball home games on Fridays starting with this coming Friday at 4:00 pm. They will have fire prevention materials, helmets, stickers and coloring books, to name a few.
