Ranger Baseball Ranked 20th in NJCAA Division II Poll

Winners in 14 of its last 20 games, Northwest went from receiving votes last week to No. 20 in this week’s NJCAA Division II Baseball Poll presented by Marucci Sports.

The rankings are based off team performance through Sunday, April 17 and do not reflect results of games played since then. Visit www.njcaa.org for the entire NJCAA Top 20 poll.

The Rangers are currently 23-13 overall and 15-7 in MACJC play under head coach Mark Carson, second in the conference standings with six games remaining.

Also ranked from NJCAA Region 23 are No. 1 LSU Eunice, No. 2 Jones County, No. 8 Meridian and No. 15 East Central.

Northwest will return home on Saturday, April 23, playing host to Hinds in a 2 p.m. doubleheader at Jim Miles Field. Tune in at www.nwccrangers.com/watch with Jake Long on the call.
