Oxford police responded to the following incidents: nine alarms, six disturbances, four illegally parked cars, four suspicious activities, two welfare concerns, two animal complaints, two complaints of lost property, a trespassing, a noise violation, a scam, a shoplifting, a credit card fraud and a motorist assist.
Oxford police investigated two wrecks, issued 43 traffic citations and made eight arrests on the following charges:

Public intoxication and fake ID
Public intoxication and simple assault
University police responded to the following incidents: one vehicle stop on Rebel Drive, vehicle accident at Crosby Hall, possession of alcohol by minor with possession of drug paraphernalia and a fake ID at Crosby Hall, a possession of drug paraphernalia at Kincannon Hall, and a vehicle accident at Residential Hall 1.
Oxford Fire Department responded to the following calls:
Smoke detector malfunction at 12:12 p.m. at 800 College Hill Road Condos
Public assistance at 5:38 p.m. to help a fallen resident up at Hermitage Gardens
