According to the Sheriff’s department, Powell used electronic devices to lure a nine-year-old girl to send him pictures and to meet him. He also reportedly sent her inappropriate pictures. The child’s parents contacted the sheriff’s department on Sunday, June 26, immediately after discovering the online communication between Powell and their child.

The police officers said they arrested Powell without incident. This morning, June 28, Judge Mickey Avent saw Powell this morning for his Initial Appearance and set his bond at $50,000.
