Firefighters Receive Warm Welcome at Hermitage Gardens

OXFORD, Miss – Staff and residents of Hermitage Gardens hosted a Firemen’s Appreciation Breakfast Wednesday morning in honor of Oxford’s firefighters.

Kerri Harrison, executive director of Hermitage Gardens, said the Oxford firefighters have been helpful and prompt to assist with any unexpected mishaps.

“Hermitage Gardens of Oxford would like to thank both the Oxford Fire Department and the Lafayette County Fire Department for their services to our city and keeping our community safe,” Harrison said.

Brett Thomas, lieutenant of the Oxford Fire Department, said he was grateful for the breakfast provided by staff and time spent with Hermitage Gardens residents.

“We want to thank Hermitage Gardens for having us out today and the Oxford community for your support,” Thomas said.
