Dr. Marcia Rachel (right) spoke to over 300 Northwest Mississippi Community College nursing and practical nursing students and nursing faculty at the Senatobia campus recently.

The session was designed to help students and faculty understand civility, bullying and violence in the workforce, and to identify strategies to promote civility in nursing and nursing education. Rachel is the associate dean for Academic Affairs and professor of Nursing at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

She previously served as executive director of the Mississippi Board of Nursing. Welcoming Rachel was Dr. Denise Bynum, division director of Nursing (left).
