Due to an incident that damaged a section of bridge railing, crews have temporarily closed the right lane of I-55 northbound at Highway 306 in Tate County.
The lane closure will remain in place until the temporary repair is in place. Highway 306 will remain closed until the roadway is clear for travel.
MDOT anticipates having the temporary repair made to the bridge railing tomorrow, October 13. To maintain the safety of the traveling public, the right lane of I-55 will remain closed until the temporary repair is in place. Weather permitting, MDOT expects to have the permanent repair in place next week. During the permanent repair, the left lane will be closed until the repair is complete.
