“This is my oldest son Hayden. He is 7. I’m asking for prayers for my boy….Well today was good and bad. We met with Dr. Shiflet, the neurosurgeon at UMMC, and looked over the MRI again. Bad news is that some of the tumor has grown into areas that are not removable without permanent damage that we aren’t going to speak of. Good news is he said that it could just end up being tissue dysplasia and once removed everything be back to perfect with 80% chance of no more seizures or migraines because all of it isn’t removable. It could possibly be the DNET tumor and still once removed everything be back to normal with 80% chance of no seizures or migraines, but risks more of a chance of growing back because all of it isn’t removable. Everything also depends on what the test shows once the tissue is tested. With that being said, Hayden will be having brain surgery either next week or the next. Most likely being next week. Just please keep praying for my Hayden Reid.”-Joshua McIlrath‎
