Homes and businesses in the Sisk Avenue area will be without water while City of Oxford crews work to repair a damaged water main.
According to a statement released by the city, customers in that part of town may experience brown water or air in the water lines until the problem is resolved.
“It is recommended to turn on an outside faucet or the cold water in the bathtub and allow the water to run for a few minutes until the problem is resolved,” the statement says.
