Oxford police responded to the following calls: Two alarms, animal complaint, auto-burglary, burglary-building, careless driving, two disturbing the peace, embezzlement, false pretense, fire department assist, improper parking, malicious mischief, two motorist assist, shoplifting, six suspicious activity, two suspicious person, four welfare concerns.
Oxford police investigated nine accident, 50 tickets and made the following arrest:
DUI 1st, Careless Driving, Expired Tag, Possession of Schedule 2 Drug, Possession of Schedule 4 Drug

Three False Pretense
Shoplifting, Public Drunk

Oxford Fire Department:
15:06 – Student Union – workers activated smoke detectors on the 3rd floor
15:40 – 113 Sivley – workers took the basement smoke detector down to paint causing an activation
19:02 – Activity Center – slight smell of gas nothing detected by monitors – no leak found
06:38 – Taco Bell – smoke on the roof and inside vent system – heating unit belt and motor smoking
University Police: Four vehicle stops, accident personal injury, three assists with traffic, other forms of harassment, disturbance.
