The School of Engineering hosts its annual Engineering Banquet this year honoring Albert L. Hilliard for Engineer of Distinction and Jeff W. Rish, III for Engineer of Service.
Honorees are chosen by the dean of engineering, engineering faculty and an Ole Miss Alumni Association representatives from a pool of applicants that have been noticed for their accomplishments in their respective fields, special events assistant Elizabeth Tettleton said.
“This year we are excited to have A&N Catering and florals by The Twisted Twig,”
Tettleton said. “The day after the banquet, we have a host of speakers that are organized into sessions and panels for engineers of differing backgrounds to obtain continuing education credits.”
The evening will focus on the two honoree guests while attendees enjoy a fine dining experience from the husband-wife team, Angie and Nick Sicurezza of A&N Catering, Tettleton said. A&N will also be catering the Woods Order reception, which will be held an hour before the engineering banquet. Both events will be held at The Inn at Ole Miss.
