Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, most local government offices will be closed Thursday and Friday.
Garbage pickup scheduled for Thursday in the city and Lafayette County will be collected on Wednesday. Friday’s collection will not change.
All city, county and federal offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Banks and post offices will be closed Thursday. Check with individual bank branches about whether they are open Friday.
The Lafayette County & Oxford Public Library will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday and be closed Thursday and Friday.
Parking around the Square will be free Thursday.
OUT buses will not run Thursday but will resume normal routes on Friday.
The University of Mississippi business offices will close at noon Wednesday and reopen Monday at 8 a.m.
