The Lafayette County Road Department has closed County Road 100, Highway 314, at the bridge bypass due to water coming over the bypass

Traffic will need to go from CR 100 to CR 107 to CR 105 to Highway 6. Traffic needing to get to that area will get off Highway 6 into CR 105, turn left onto CR 105, which will carry them to CR 100.

The Road Department has also reported that County Roads 428, 383, 107, 129 and 457 currently have water on them.

Lafayette County is currently under a Flash Flood Watch and Flood Warnings have been issued for Little Tallahatchie Canal and Yocona River.
