Lafayette County Woman Dies After ATV Wreck

A local woman died Tuesday after losing control of an all-terrain vehicle.

Laticia (Tish) McMinn October 31, 1951 – April 2, 2019

According to the Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to County Road 354, about a mile from Highway 328 in reference to a four-wheeler wreck.

Deputies found Laticia McMinn, 67, of Lafayette County had been involved in a one-vehicle ATV wreck. She was transported to Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi where she died as a result of her injuries.

McMinn lived in the area of the accident, according to the sheriff’s department.

She was a member of Oasis Church in Oxford and enjoyed fishing, doing puzzles and canning.

Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday in the Gardiner Room at Seven Oaks Funeral Home, which is handling arrangements. Services will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Henry Chapel of Seven Oaks with Bro. Vincent Anderson officiating. Burial will be in McMinn Cemetery.
