Star & Micey, no strangers to Oxford, return Saturday, November 24, to perform at Proud Larrys’. The regional favorites cut their EP I Can’t Wait at Oxford’s Sweet Tea Studios. Produced by Sweet Tea’s Dennis Herring (Elvis Costello, Counting Crows, Buddy Guy), the record was released by the legendary Ardent Music label.
The group released its debut album in October 2009, with guests on the tracks including Luther Dickinson (The Black Crowes, North Mississippi Allstars), Jody Stephens (Big Star) and Rick Steff (Cat Power, Lucero).
