‘Barack Obama’ recently called Captain Midnight of the Captain Midnight Band to rave about a performance and the band’s catalog of music, keyboardist Lil’ Rae Rae, and even the Captain’s mother.
Captain Midnight is Oxford native and Ole Miss alum Josh Cooker, currently based in Nashville, leader of the Captain Midnight Band. ‘Barack Obama’ is another Ole Miss alum, Ben Campbell, a voice talent/impressionist, who last year performed his Obama impression on Jimmy Kimmel Live and this year on Conan.
