Oxford Orthopaedics Indoor Practice Facility Celebrates First Anniversary
FNC Park is celebrating the first anniversary of the opening of their Oxford Orthopaedics Indoor Practice Facility (IPF) as they enter their seventh year of business.
“It has been a tremendous success and wonderful addition to our park,” says Brad Freeman, director of FNC Park. “Before we had the Oxford Ortho IPF, if bad weather hit, our teams were out of luck that day. Now, rain or shine, we have the means to get teams into a state-of-the-art facility.”
The Oxford Orthopaedics IPF serves as a versatile addition to the park.
“We have enjoyed our partnership with FNC Park and are proud to be part of an invaluable asset for our community,” says Dr. Kurre Luber, Oxford Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine.
The six batting cages within the building lift to the ceiling to accommodate soccer teams with an open space for their practices. Over the course of the past year, the facility has also been used for various events.
“We have had about fifteen birthday parties since we opened up last year,” says Clay Brownlee, assistant director of FNC Park. “We set up tables and chairs in our upstairs observation deck, for food and drinks and most people prefer to have the cages raised to play games on the open floor space. So far, everyone that has booked it says it has been a great experience for them and their kids.”
Families can book the facility for parties by contacting Clay Brownlee at clay@fncpark.com. To reserve a batting cage, visit the FNC website and choose “Batting Cage Rentals” at the top right.
