Last December, Ole Miss students and fans won the Tilt competition to bring Snoop Lion, known formerly as Snoop Dogg, to Oxford for a June concert.

Sadly, the concert did not happen this past summer but next week, Tilt will bring Mississippi rappers Rae Sremmurd to the Lyric on September 9.

Natassia Costa, public relations staff for Tilt, said via email: “We spent over five months trying to lock down the schedule for our original artist, but we couldn’t wait any longer to bring a high profile headliner to Ole Miss, and who better than Mississippi natives, Rae Sremmurd.”

The tickets are sold out, but students can follow Tilt on Instagram (@tilt) to win pop-up tickets. Costa said that if students create a tilt with Rae Sremmurd in the headline with 100-plus contributors, their two general admission tickets will be upgraded to VIP.

Starting this Friday, student ticket holders can pick up their tickets at the Lyric with their student IDs.

All money raised on Tilt will benefit Ole Miss Athletics Foundation. For more information visit tilt.com/rae.
