Oxford’s New Chancellor’s House Hiring Butlers, Chambermaids

Oxford’s only boutique luxury hotel is hiring. Slated to open this fall, the Chancellor’s House seeks employees for positions like butlers, chambermaids, and a Concierge.

According to the hotel’s website, “Guests of Chancellor’s House enjoy the services of a dedicated butler attendant, who can serve as a guide to the greater Oxford, Mississippi area or provide customized assistance ranging from packing and unpacking to fragrance selection and more.”

About the Concierge service, “No request is too big or too small at Chancellor’s House. Our discerning concierge staff is happy to assist with anything you need during your stay at our boutique hotel in Oxford, Mississippi,” the website states.

In keeping with the focus on luxury, Chancellor’s House has worked with Top Hat to create a collection of fashionable uniforms designed specifically for them.

Michael Donoghue, Managing Director of the Chancellor’s House, feels Top Hat created the exact look he was hoping for. “Every detail at Chancellor’s House must reinforce our brand of refined southern elegance. We have reached internationally to identify “only the best” in amenities, such as the Heeley line of bathroom toiletries and fine Egyptian bed linens.

The Dallas-based interior design firm, Wilson Associates, says it seeks to embody modern luxury with a nod to the traditions of Southern elegance for the Chancellor’s House under construction.
