Second Semester At Ole Miss As Told By "Gilmore Girls"

When second semester rolls around, most students are very refreshed and ready to take on these next few months; and for some, the last few months of college.

However, some still have the same begrudging feelings toward classes that they had six weeks ago before Christmas break. In college, a new semester is like a new school year in High School.
Here is a list of the eight phases of second semester as told by “Gilmore Girls.”

Walking into the first Monday of spring semester like…

Honestly, who does like Mondays? They are so long and too far away from Friday, but unfortunately, they do come around eventually. Therefore, perk up and walk into class with a purpose. Start the week off on the best foot possible. #WalkWithAPurpose #TakeOnMonday

When You Realize You Signed Up For An 8 a.m. Every Day…

I am with Rory on this one. Anything before 11 a.m. is not the least bit exciting; however, we all have to take an 8 a.m. at some point in our lives. So, rally up and take on that 8 a.m. class like a champ. #SleepIsForTheWeak #YouCanDoThis

When Your Teachers Assign All Of Your Tests The Week Leading Up To Spring Break…

I think I am crying. Actually, I know I am crying. What kind of people are we dealing with here? It’s like our professors are trying to teach us something. Oh, wait… #HowDoYouDoSchool #SB2K17IsAlmostHere

When You Have Midterms Coming Up Along With A Stress Ulcer…

Literally, this is me every Friday, ESPECIALLY during midterms, but then I realize my teachers do not care if I have a social life. I promise you this, stay in that Friday night and prepare for the test. Go out the next night or the next weekend. There will always be a party to attend. Your parents, conscience, stress ulcer and GPA will thank you for this. #SeeYouNextTimeHomies

When You Are Wondering If You Will Survive The Rest Of Second Semester…

TMI Lorelai!!! Just kidding, we can all say, “Been there, done that!” when it comes to this one. I know school gets ultra-stressful, so just be sure to be fully dressed before you leave for class. #CheckYourSelfBeforeYouWreckYourself

When Spring Parties Begin…

Spring parties are not just any kind of parties; they are definitely a lifestyle that comes along with being a student at the university. They come around once a year; and once they hit, there is no going back. Prepare yourself for this lifestyle, and you will survive! #SpringPartiesBestParties #ItIsALifestyle

When Finals Week Rolls Around…

Full disclosure. No one will judge you if you pull a Rory during this week. Finals week is one of the most stressful weeks for a college student. Your life literally feels like it is falling to pieces. But, do not fear. Ring up your “mommy” (or go-to person), and they will give you the world’s best listening ear. #FinalsWeekWorstWeek #CallYourPerson #YouGotThis #WinTheDay

After You Take Your Last Final Exam And Begin To Start Your Summer Plans…

Honestly, this should be the first thing that EVERY college student does to kick off his or her summer plans. You just experienced one of the most stressful weeks of your life. Take a load off and load up those calories. You have the whole summer to plan. Take this day and enjoy it. #HelloSummer #HelloPizza
