“One event is a Scotch and Food Pairing featuring Glenmorangie Scotch and dinner from Neon Pig,” event and catering sales manager for the hotel, Monique Horan said. “The other event happening at the same time is our Wine and Dine Paint Night. Studio Whimzy will lead attendees to paint their own masterpieces while My Michelle’s caters a delicious dinner, and we will be providing a great selection of wine.”
The Scotch and Food Tasting event will be a private affair in the Cabin 82 restaurant with a five five-course and Glenmorangie scotch pairings. Glenmorangie is a scotch from the Glenmorangie distillery in the Scottish Highlands that was founded in 1843 and is difficult to find in Mississippi. This night will feature different pours of Glenmorangie paired with each course.
The Wine and Dine Paint Night will feature a dinner menu by My Michelle’s including Baby Greens Salad, prosciutto stuffed chicken breast, roasted asparagus, green garlic new potatoes, flourless chocolate cake, and pound cake. All of this will be paired with your choice of red, white, or sparkling wine. Guests will also enjoy a guided paint night by Studio Whimzy.
Both events will be held at the Graduate Oxford Hotel on Thursday, July 20 and tickets are $75 for one ticket or $135 for two tickets. The Graduate Oxford Hotel is also offering room discounts for guests who wish to turn the night into a “stay-cation.” Tickets and more information may be found here
