You never know what you’re going to get at The Lyric in Oxford. This Saturday, it’s a one-man show about Forrest Gump starring Charlie Davis.
The show, called “Gump: With Your Pal Charlie Davis,” starts at 8 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 23, and tickets cost $10. The doors open at 7 p.m., and adult beverages will be available.
Davis will reenact the entire “Forrest Gump” film by himself, covering “every character, every line and every nuance,” according to a Facebook description of the event.
“However, just like life being like a box of chocolates, the same goes with the show,” the description continues. “Charlie will have a box of chocolates where the entire movie is divided up into 32 scenes. Each scene corresponds with a chocolate that you, the audience member, will draw. You never know what you’re going to get, and neither will Charlie.”
