Ole Miss offensive tackle Greg Little announced on Monday that he is officially forgoing his senior year to move on to the NFL.
The Allen, Texas native thanked Rebel fans for making him feel loved during his three years playing for the red and blue.
“It feels like yesterday when I joined the Ole Miss family, 3 years went way too fast,” Little said. “From the moment I arrived, I received an overwhelming embrace by the coaching staff, community and most importantly my brothers.”
“It has been an honor and a privilege to represent the prestigious Ole Miss. However, after several in depth discussions with my family, I have chosen to declare for the 2019 NFL Draft,” he said on Twitter.
Little has been a mainstay on the offensive line for the Rebels after starting every game at left tackle. He earned second-team All-American at the midway point by Sports Illustrated, USA Today, Associated Press and Athlon. Little accumulated several other accolades during his tenure at Ole Miss:
ESPN.com’s Todd McShay ranks Little as the eighth best draft-eligible prospect in college football and is listed as the No. 1 offensive lineman.
Little joins his former teammates A.J. Brown and D.K. Metcalf in the NFL draft that will take place April 25-27, 2019 in Nashville.
