The annual Water Valley Watermelon Carnival will take place this weekend in downtown Water Valley.
The full weekend celebration will kick off at 6:30 tonight with a music festival at the Civic Auditorium. Musical guest is the Water Valley community band.
Friday’s events include music, arts and crafts, and will conclude with a street dance and firework show at 8 p.m at the City Park.
Saturday, the event will feature a full day of arts, crafts and food, as well as a parade and 3-K run.
