Raina Hampton, an Oxford artist, said, “Being a participant of the Double Decker Festival will be a dream come true.” She is one of 120 vendors Oxford will support in the Double Decker Festival this spring. Hampton has been preparing all year for this event.
She has been a professional artist for nine years and has included her family in her talent. He husband, Alan, makes the canvases that she paints. Her favorite things to paint include birds, cotton fields and landscapes.
Hampton adds texture to her paintings, by hand, with a sculpting knife. She is passionate about her job because she is able to express her moods and feelings through her art. She likes to think of her self as a happy person, so she paints with lighter colors.
Hampton’s paintings are available to view around the town of Oxford. She also does personal paintings.
