Thanks to a winning essay piece written by Oxford Middle School (OMS) eighth grader Grace Logan, she and her classmates are now on the special guest list as the first visitors welcomed into the GRAMMY Museum Mississippi next spring.

After the museum’s official ribbon cutting ceremony on March 5, 2016, in Cleveland, Mississippi, she and her classmates will have the opportunity to be the first to set foot inside the new museum.

Logan is one of three winners in the essay category for the GRAMMY Museum Mississippi’s Ribbon Cutting Engagement Contest, which students from across Mississippi entered. Her winning essay piece will be on exhibit at the Delta Arts Alliance during the museum’s Grand Opening weekend.
