Wiz Khalifa Headlining Ole Miss SAA's "Welcome Back Concert"


Students are slowly returning to Oxford, and Ole Miss begins classes next week. After a long first week of classes, the Ole Miss Student Activites Association (SAA) will put on their annual “Welcome Back Concert” at the Pavilion on Friday, August 25. This year’s headliner will be platinum recording artist and rapper, Wiz Khalifa. 


Khalifa follows in the footsteps of other notable artists who have graced the stage on the Ole Miss campus in years past including; Nelly, Brad Paisley, Zac Brown and many others.
Khalifa has released six albums, four of which have reached the top 10 on the US charts. Khalifa’s next album Rolling Papers 2 is scheduled to be released later this year
The “Welcome Back Concert” will be free to students with a valid student ID. Seating is general admission and the floor is standing room only. The concert is for students only and is not open to the general public. The opening act has not yet been announced. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the concert will begin at 9 p.m. Students can enter the Pavilion using the North entrance on All-American Drive.
