Country singer and songwriter Brett Young posted on Twitter Friday releasing his Ole Miss tribute song, “Hell Yeah Damn Right.”

Brett Young is a former Ole Miss Baseball pitcher, starting his freshman year in 2000. That year, Young earned his first career win at Ole Miss in March after pitching for six innings. After playing a year at Ole Miss and another at Fresno State, Young’s baseball career came to an end his junior year after suffering from an elbow injury.
However, that did not stop him from pursuing his next dream: becoming a country singer. Now, Young still shows his love for Ole Miss through his latest single. After the release, Brett Young received tons of positive feedback from Ole Miss students, alumni and fans.     Brett Young is still an Ole Miss fan and wears apparel to represent the University while on tour.
